Job Description
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Supports all Marriott International hotel brands
- Assists with the design and preparation of statistical reports as required
- Creates and maintains shared folders and team performance tracking documents
- Produces and distributes team correspondence, presentations and other related documents as required
- Assists VP Sales & Distribution and team in preparation of various presentations/ reports/ updates
- Maintains diaries and schedules appointments and meeting for VP, Sales & Distribution and designated leaders within the Sales & Distribution discipline
- Composes, produces and signs correspondence on routine matters – with specific permission, sign for manager and release
- Coordinates venue, agendas and minutes for various meetings
- Coordinates all travel and hotel accommodation arrangements
- Coordinates Team meetings
- Sets up conference calls
- Files and forward-traces a variety of documents
- Maintains office supplies for area
- Processes expense reports
- Takes meeting minutes as requested
- Tracks team vacation
- Maintains, collates and distributes all relevant activity reports
- Responds to various requests for help and information
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by management
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent level of English & Mandarin/ Cantonese is essential (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of Marriott International Key Brands and Strategies with a strong administrative background - able to work on their own initiative, able to effectively communicate with guests, owners and co-workers
- Agile to cater different business needs
- Strong relationship management skills
- Able to design and implement successful tracking of documents and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of all Marriott Lodging products, cultures and brand strategies
- Good time management
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Strong organizational skills
- Proactive and reliable
- Able to use common applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to assist in preparation of quality presentations
- Able to develop and maintain relationships e.g. associates, customers, owners
- Able to work under minimal supervision
