Responsibilities:

u   To liaise with Worldwide office and local insurance companies on policy coverage arrangement for the Region

u   To handle the claim received against the company and make recovery from the wrongful party and the insurance company

u   To provide guideline to operations to minimise company’s exposure in any claim risk

u   To review the contract and comment on the non-compliance clause

u   To review all compliance procedures/policies for various departments, ensuring the compliance policies are properly developed, monitored & complied with relevant regulations and legislation in respect of the regulated activities

u   Assist the BMS project in S. China region, handing ISO certificate including ISO 9000, 14000, 18000

u   Ad hoc Risk Management project assigned by the General Manager – Hong Kong & South China

u   Provide support to the Administration Department, if required

 Requirements:

u   Degree holder in related discipline

u   Marine cargo insurance and claim knowledge and experience

u   Marine & Air Cargo law knowledge is an advantage

u   Successful completion of auditor training in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 is an advantage

u   Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.  Patient, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, responsible, and capable to work under pressure and tight schedules;

u   Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese);

u   Occasional business travel

(Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Risk Manager)
