SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE

Clinical Division

The Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine is going to establish a Chinese medicine centre which is expected to start operation in December 2017. The centre will develop a comprehensive innovative Chinese medicine platform to the public for health management by providing health education, health assessment, preventive healthcare service and cloud health management. The School is now inviting applications for the following position.

The appointee will be responsible for preparing marketing/promotional materials in the form of photos, video and animation production. Major duties include recording lectures and seminars; drafting video scripts; assisting in the preparation of reports; maintaining social media platforms; assisting in organising promotional activities including seminars, exhibitions, health talks and guided tours; assisting users in completing body constitution questionnaires and trying out various instruments; and performing any ad hoc work as assigned.

Applicants should have post-secondary education qualification, preferably in Multimedia, Creative Design, Communications or a related discipline, with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Those with Chinese medicine knowledge and work experience in Chinese medicine clinics would be preferred. Experience in event organisation will be an advantage. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), high proficiency in computer applications, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Applicants should also be self-motivated, able to work both independently and in a team. Duty on weekends and/or public holidays may be required occasionally.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
