Our client, a Multinational Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for ensuring that a comprehensive risk based control monitoring programme exists across the function, evidencing the adequacy and effectiveness of key controls.
• Accountable for the proactive escalation, reporting, provision of advice, business process change and new initiative development, to the end that the risk profile of the business remains within appetite.
• Perform sample checking of advisory transactions to ensure the key control guidelines and risk parameters are followed by collecting relevant information and preparing comprehensive statistical reports.
• Prepare MIS report and to provide recommendations on system change to ensure compliance of the local regulatory requirements as well as in line with the industry standards and practice.
• Conduct risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the Bank, and evaluating the Bank’s handling of risks.
• Risk reporting in an appropriate way to ensure senior management is aware of risks relevant to the business and operations of the Bank.
• Ensure high quality and adequate information is provided to marketing staff to establish a risk awareness within the Branch.
• Liaise with the Head Office Group Risk Office in relation to risk management.
• Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned in the Risk Management Team.

Requirements:-

• University graduate with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in financial institutions.
• Background in private banking's risk & controls; middle-office or call monitoring is preferred.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the local regulatory landscape.
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work on critical deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• High risk and control awareness.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and oral).
