Responsibilities:

• Supervising and overseeing trading team and liaising with operation & settlement team
• Formulating and reviewing internal control policies and business activities to ensure the procedures are adhered to by staff and are complied with the Hong Kong laws included SFC codes and guidelines
• Handling and monitoring risk-check level included but not limited cash & inventory positions
• Building and executing trading strategies plan and promoting business products
• Maintaining and improving stability on trading system and cost control on execution
• Monitoring and analysing the trading team performance
• Executing the portfolio (Fund/DA) on requests and making timely recommendation for mitigating strategies and risk rating changes
• Collecting and resolving trading errors, settlement issues, inquiries, and allocation booking
• Arranging regular in-house training for the team
• Implementing and formulating the business plan to growing customer base
• Providing advice, direction and guidance to the staff and management
• Generating trading opportunities or ideas and market information to RMs, FM or clients

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance or other related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years working experience in securities firms
• Current holder of SFC Responsible Office License for Type 1
• Exposure in SFC type 1, 4, 9 and Hong Kong Stock Market, Bonds and Funds
• Good knowledge in Hong Kong and US stock market, bonds and funds
• Familiar with trading system AYERS
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Well versed spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
