We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager and Actuary.

In this role, you will

  • ​Lead in collaboration with finance the interpretation of the IFRS 17 standard.
  • Lead the design and build, of assigned models for financial reporting in Prophet and the data ware house.
  • Lead the user acceptance testing of the Prophet models, data ware house and Disclosures for the general ledger
  • Assist in the communication and training of the new standard towards Risk, Finance and Business
  • Lead the process for the comparative balance sheets and profit or loss accounts related to IFRS 17 disclosures
  • Ensure the process control on deliverable is robust and aligned with market best practice

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Qualified Actuary under one of the International recognized actuarial societies
  • Extensive amount of working and people management experience in relevant actuarial and insurance areas
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, embedded value or economic capital processes
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively.
  • Experience preparing and or conducting briefings and interfacing at all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated initiative, autonomy and commitment to process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to think conceptually balanced with practical day to day execution.
