Job Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Report to Team Head of Custodian Administration Services Department and assist to lead a team to provide professional middle office administration in relation to corporate trust and fund custodian related services, such as bond trustee, QDII, QFII, RQFII and SFC authorized funds.
  • Monitor KYC, FATCA & CRS related checking, account opening and client onboarding procedures.  Supervise team members in collection of KYC and CDD documents.
  • Control, review and liaise with relevant parties independently on account documentations, including services agreements, trust deed and other account related documents, etc. and manage service deliverability.
  • Ensure account documentations in compliance with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake to draft and review from time to time procedure manuals and service standard. 
  • Coordinate well internally with front and back offices, externally with clients and business partners including to meet with clients and business partners, when necessary.
  • Participate in projects of new business development from time to time.
  • Assist Department Head and Team Head to complete other tasks as assigned, such as system development.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in one or more of law, accounting, finance, investment related discipline or holding relevant professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 3-year experience in corporate trust / fund custodian & administration business with knowledge in securities markets, fund administration and asset management operation.
  • Understanding of SFC authorized funds regulations.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Good writing skills in English and Chinese.
  • Fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Good communication and organization skills, strong self-initiative, problem solving oriented attitude.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
