Our Chinese-based financial holdings company invites you to join their legal team as the position of Legal Counsel.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with CEO
• Provide full legal support to investment team on onshore and offshore private equity investment projects
• Draft legal-related agreements and review business contracts and marketing materials
• Assist in the establishment and implementation of compliance programs, policies and procedures
• Liaise with external counsel
• Liaise with SFC on enquires and licensing matters, disclosure information replies
• Undertake other ad-hoc in-house duties as assigned
• Pre-screen legal issues in investment opportunities and identified by investment team
• Review and negotiate transactional documents relating to the investment projects
• Provide post-closing legal support relating to the investment projects
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of general corporate and commercial matters

 Requirements

• Hong Kong qualified solicitor with 5 years PQE or above
• At least 5 years' experience in corporate activities with focus on M&A, corporate finance and asset management
• Familiar with Hong Kong Listing Rules, SFC and Company Ordinances
• Familiar with HK and PRC business environment
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and excellent command of English and Chinese
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Immediate available is highly preferred
• Work location: Central
