Client Details:

Our client, a licensed establishment in the Online Personal Finance space, is set to become the next up-and-coming player. To expedite success, they are seeking an experienced Credit Manager.

Job Details:

    • Develop credit scorecard for acquisition, portfolio management and collection cycle. 
    • Approval of credit applications.
    • Apply advanced analytics techniques in all business areas to explore a new opportunity, achieve higher profitability and enforce better risk management.
    • Analyse and review credit applications and proposals.
    • Evaluate risk level and prepare assessment reports.
    • Formulate credit risk policy to optimize the risk exposure.
    • Facilitate in credit product development to strengthen the competitiveness of the company in personal lending and other credit products.
    • Work closely with other business and functional departments for scorecard development, implementation and ongoing monitoring.
    • Any ad-hoc project and other duties assigned by the management.

Profile:

    • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Risk Management or other relevant quantitative disciplines. Preferably with professional qualification in CFA, FPM, ACCA or CPA.
    • Minimum 8 years' experience in banking or finance industries with credit risk management.
    • Prior experience in personal financial/unsecured lending business is highly preferred.
    • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, Money Lenders License practices on credit risk management is essential.
    • Must have strong capability in risk analytics, credit scorecard and statistical modelling.
    • Self-motivated, result-driven, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership quality and able to influence both upstream and downstream. 
    • Analytical, independent, possession of good problem-solving and report-writing skills.
    • Willing to learn new knowledge and skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese and fluent in Putonghua.
