The client is respected Chinese group that is aggressively expanding. They are now seeking a VP, Commercial & Corporate Banking, China / PRC desk - Treasury and Financing (HKD1.2M - 1.6M based) to join their growing team in Hong Kong with focus on Financing projects / Structured Finance / Syndicated loans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic financial solutions and required credit approval from Chinese financial institutions in Hong Kong and Greater China for conforming customers’ or project needs;
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and key Chinese customers in Hong Kong and Greater China;
• Track the market dynamic for loan and debt product as well as credit-worthiness of customers;
• Negotiate with bank and financial institutions in major terms of financing and transactions; and
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Manage a group of financial professionals to perform treasury functions including: cash management, weekly cash-flow forecast, foreign currency dealings & hedging, fund allocation & risk management, etc. to enhance the funding utilization efficiency

Requirements:

• University graduate or above, with recognized professional qualifications;
• At least 10 years of solid relevant experience in bank as Relationship Manager with focus on financing / syndicated loans projects; 
• Strong networks with Chinese banks in HK and/or China region is a must.
• Good understanding of regulatory/ exchanges rules in relation to capital market;
• Proactive, result oriented, organized and able to work under a dynamic high growth environment; and
• Strong communication skills; proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is a must.
