Our Chinese based Conglomerate client would like to hire an Investment Director to head up their investment team.

Responsibilities 

• Reporting to the group management, responsible for deal execution and on-going portfolio management
• Lead a team for fund management, including all finance and fund administration related activities for private market funds, especially for real estate funds
• Set up new funds, approaching and preparing investor pitches, investment valuations, fund performance assessments, regular management reporting and management fee calculations
• Execute a full spectrum of corporate finance transactions, mainly M&A, fund raising exercises and other transactions which involve in the Hong Kong Listing Rules and/or Takeovers Code
• Liaise with internal and external counterparts
• Assess potential deals and explore new business opportunities by market research, valuation analysis and financial modeling
• Assist group management team in corporate finance assignment, including M&A, due diligence, fund raising exercises and corporate advisory transactions
• Review and comment on draft documents and legal documents including subscription agreements
• Monitor fund transaction and provide investment supports on a regular basis
• Adhere to regulatory rules for risk and compliance control

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business and finance or equivalent
• 7 years in investment industry, with 4 years Private Equity experience.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in private fund industry
• Track record in private market funds, including finance and fund administration
• Experience with APAC real estate market and listed company is preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Fluent English and Mandarin is a must
