Report to:  Chief Financial Officer

Main Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the direction of the accounting functions

Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL and intercompany reconciliations

Maintain routine accounting operations: preparation of payment, receipt and general vouchers, handling claims from staff, issuing and depositing cheques, preparing bank reconciliation statement

Assist in month end closing and conduct account reconciliations and analysis

Assist in preparing budget and forecast

Be able to work with countries office to resolve issues, to ensure any exceptional matters be escalated to management on time

Be part of the internal control team to perform assurance checks on projects.  Occasional travel may be required.

Handle and provide assistance to general administrative works as backup

Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualification and Experience

Diploma in Accounting or related discipline

At least five years of accounting experience, preferably with MNC or local audit experience

Strong PC/ IT skills & familiar with MS Excel and accounting software (MYOB is a plus)

Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Proactive, independent, willing to learn and good team player

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Outgoing and energetic personality
