Responsibilities

• Provide professional legislative advice for the Group on the relevant laws/rules/restrictions;
• Assist on overseeing and leading corporate M&A transactions.
• Reviewing legal documents in relation to various transactions or Group business matters;
• Provide legal advice related to corporate, transaction and general commercial matters to management and different business units.
• Manage external legal counsel and liaison with the regulatory authorities, in particular the SFC

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years Post Qualified Experience in a Law firm or financial institution.
• Qualified Lawyer or Practicing Lawyer/Associate in Hong Kong or China in house experience is also welcomed
• Good knowledge in deal transactions in terms of M&A and other relevant rules and regulations
• Team leadership and team player abilities and qualities
• Highly developed analytical and oral/written presentation/ communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
