Responsibilities

• Reporting to Senior Management and assist in overseas investment, private equity funds and cross-border M&A funds primarily in energy and telecommunication sectors in China and Europe regions.
• Solicit and negotiate business origination and deals negotiation in China and overseas as well as manage the whole process for investment of private equity funds/ transactions.
• Responsible for deals sourcing and funds sourcing for overseas investment projects, investment projects analysis and feasibility studies, market research, valuations, due diligence, and implement the deal process, etc.
• Plan, formulate and implement strategy review, market and industry research, business performance evaluation, and operations management;
• Monitor invested projects and prepare periodic updates and reports on investment;
• Implement and manage the long-term strategy for the company, oversight of operations, internal portfolio management and risk management system etc.
• Provide support and assist to senior management on business development and marketing plan
• Frequent business travel is required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

• Master degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting or above.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in overseas investment, private equity investment, M&A funds in energy and telecommunication sectors in China and Europe regions, esp. in Spain;
• PRC company and China and Europe exposure an advantage
• An experienced private equity investor with solid experience in business origination and transaction execution experience with overseas investment and M&A deals.
• Solid experience to deal with institutional investors.
• Sound knowledge in valuation and cash flow evaluation modelling
• Strong business acumen with experience in critically evaluating business and investment opportunities;
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under pressure with high attention to detail and capable of acting on own initiative/self-disciplined;
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills;
• Strong sense of confidentiality with personal integrity and code of professional ethic.
• Excellent in business writing and speaking in English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a must;
• Frequent business travel is required.
