Our client is a listed medical group offering a wide range of healthcare services through their chain of clinics and panel network.  Apart from serving individual customers, they also provide healthcare schemes for corporations and institutions in Hong Kong, Macau and China.  To help implement the group’s strategic growth plans for Greater China region, our client is now looking to hire a seasoned executive with clinical operation experience.

Based in Hong Kong headquarters and report directly to Director of Clinical Operations, the successful candidate will be authorizing and approving all service operation procedures and managing the healthcare network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-authorize and approve operational procedures including clinical, surgical, laboratory test, extra medication, physiotherapy, etc., to ensure corporate clients follow those procedures.
• Pre-authorize and approve the quotations of surgical fee and get alignment with panel doctors.
• Liaise with insurance companies on surgical fees to ensure fee scales are aligned with industry norm.
• Conduct surgical fee data analysis to ensure the data consistency and derive potential business opportunities.
• Enhance the relationship with key accounts/ customers by organizing different activities, seminars and workshops, etc.
• Lead and coach a team of nursing assistants to ensure the clinics and healthcare networks are operated and managed effectively, as well as in compliance with established policy & practice, budget and statutory requirements.
• Conduct clinical system training when it is necessary.
• Other ad-hoc projects assigned by the management.
• Coordinate and identify potential Specialist Practitioners in order to strengthen the panel specialist doctor pool.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Healthcare Management or Business Administration.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience gained with public or private healthcare services.
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification is highly preferred but not a must.
• Proactive, result-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• A team player but yet a strong leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in PC software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing).
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
