Job Description

 
Title : Contract Project Manager (Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Administration - banking industry) 


Responsibilities :
                           

  • Capital Works Management
  • Handle and responsible for projects to be carried out within approved budget and comply with the Bank’s quality standard
  • Responsible for Corporate Landlord’s compliance projects for rectification of unauthorized building works and keep within budget
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements on renovations and alterations
  • Fulfill requirements of BU/SU so as to meet their business needs
  • Provide value-add solutions in response to BU/SU’s requests
  • Resolve fit out issue to ensure quality, cost and time management
  • Assess, monitor and manage risks from the Bank’s perspective
  • Develop Corporate Standard
  • Process improvements to improve productivity
  • Responsible for branch relocation/closure
  • Ensure cost saving opportunities are realized

Key Accountabilities

  • Financial - control the expense for projects.
  • People - Coordinate and develop partnerships with all parties.
  • Productivity - Ensure the delivery within agreed cost, time and schedule, contributes more to other regions such as information and knowledge sharing and ad hoc project support as required.
  • Quality/Processes - Ensure projects are delivered with good quality.
  • Customer Satisfaction - Demonstrating efforts to take initiatives to proactively factor in the users’ requirements and expectations in our real estate solutions proposed to the users.


Requirements :

  • At least 8-10 years experience in the construction related works
  • Strong negotiating skill, strategic planning and communications skills
  • Very strong space planning
  • Good vendor management, facilities management, building regulations and best practice
  • Good problem / issue resolution capability
  • Good technical knowledge in construction technology in particular related to fittingout and renovations.
  • General knowledge in E&M facilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of Finance principles in order to manage the P&L of the assets
  • Degree in construction related subjects such as building surveying, building services, building technology
