Job Descriptions:

• Arrange duty roster and handle all staff matters of six (6) Senior Artisans.
• Assist in providing technical support to estate management staff on tree matters.
• Assist in providing technical advices on site for emergency tree works in public housing estates.
• Conduct audit checking and monitor the tree works in respect of tree risk assessment and tree remedial works contracts for six management regions.
• Assist in collating and consolidating scientific information and information required for the maintenance of Geographic Information System collected through the arboricultural contractors.
• Assist in launching public training and activities on tree matters m public housing estates.
• Perform any other duties as required;
• From 8:00am to 6:00pm (Monday to Friday each week);
• May be required to work irregular hours and shifts (including Saturdays / Sundays/ General Holidays)

Job Requirements:

• Have Level 2 / Grade E or above in five (5) subjects in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; 
• Have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
• Possess a recognized certificate/diploma in horticulture/landscape/arboriculture or related field equivalent to the standard of Level 3 or above in Hong Kong Qualification Framework;
• Possess a valid professional qualification in arboricultural, such as Certified Arborist of International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Technician or above of Arboricultural Association (UK), or equivalent;
• Have successfully undertaken the training programmes such as Tree Risk Assessment Qualification organized by the ISA or Professional Tree Inspection by Lantra Award; 
• Have at least three (3) years’ post-professional qualification working experience in horticulture/landscape/arboriculture or related field;
• Possess a valid certificate on Occupational Safety and Health in Arboriculture;
• Must be familiar with the application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. and the operation of Geographic Information System;
• Immediate availability is preferred.
