Job Description
Job Purpose
To produce graphic design solutions to communicate Indigo Living’s corporate, brand and tactical messages with high visual impact. Visual solutions are required for a variety of areas including seasonal catalogues, website design, through-the-line advertising, visual and in-store merchandising collateral, and corporate communications (stationery, business cards, presentations, brand guidelines etc). The Graphic Designer is in charge of Indigo Living’s visual brand and collateral both online and offline across all territories.
To work with the Graphic Design Manager to develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet clear business objectives.
To work with and across different business units in a B2B and B2C capacity.
The work demands creative flair and commercial awareness, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and current fashions & trends in visual arts, furniture designs, interior trends and a professional approach to time, material costs and deadlines, all of which can impact the design.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Branding & artwork (including ads, merchandising, flyers and other marketing collateral)
- Photography & images
- Online multi- media & website
- Packaging, stationery & merchandising
- Administration
Requirement:-
- Program skills required: Adobe Creative Suite 5 (CS5) Standard (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro.) on Mac and PC
- Excel proficient
- Experience in print production and packaging (colour proofing, print layouts, di-cuts approving quotes, sourcing suppliers and paper stock)
- Candidate must have the ability to manage own workflow and meet tight deadlines
- Candidate must demonstrate creativity within a corporate framework
- English communication skills are required – both written and verbal
- Candidate must be a team player, have flexibility and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- 3 -5 years experience is required.
Transportation to and from Cyberport office includes Cyberport shuttle bus, green minibus to Wong Chuk Hang / Kennedy Town MTR, green minibus and buses to different locations.
