Job Responsibilities:

ŸConduct research, sourcing and support the design team for development of overall collection plan and assigned projects

ŸFollow up the total development process and sample order issurance

ŸAttend trade shows, research and source material/ techniques that are relevant to customer specific requirements and service standard

ŸCompare and contrast the sourced/ current materials with our competitors so as to ensure continuous improvement

ŸProfessional in developing new products and techniques, and reviewing the existing items for implementing marketing strategies and programs along with Design Team

ŸTo ensure smooth daily operations, on time delivery and quality standard of products in cooperation with corresponding departments

ŸSupport and handle sample development/ mock-ups via effective coordination with sample rooms and suppliers

ŸIdentify product quality issues and resolve the problem (including price negotiation)

ŸOversee and provide adequate guidelines on PRC merchandising team

ŸEnsure timely delivery of development in accordance with daily and weekly schedule

ŸFrequent travel to PRC is a must

Job Requirements:

ŸTertiary education or diploma holder in textile study or related disciplines

ŸMinimum 5 years solid experience in fashion industry with focus on SWEATER and rapid response system

ŸFamiliar with production development process ranges from ready-to-wear and high-end fashion

ŸGarment manufacturing/trading/buying office background is preferred

ŸStrong fashion sense, excellent problem solving and price negotiation skills

ŸEnthusiastic for development and good sense of responsibility

ŸPassionate, self-initiative, detail-minded, well-organized and hard working

ŸProficient in MS Office application

ŸGood communication skill in written and spoken English and Mandarin

ŸWilling to travel frequently to PRC and other regions upon request
