The Role:

As a Senior Interior designer / Interior Architect you will need to have the passion, creativity and drive to carry out complex and challenging tasks as part of an interdisciplinary team.  You will need to love leading the field and be able to express your own creative identity.

Working across interior architecture, product and communication design, the team you will be joining creates buildings, interior spaces, products and communication strategies that are always part of a larger whole and always unique.

Your tasks will include:

• You will  lead our international teams in execution phases to ensure smooth project delivery
• You will have direct communication with our clients
• Your day to day tasks will be implementing a range of interior concepts, with original thinking, lateral thinking, and always questioning of current trends
• You will need to be content working on  design development of complex, frequently bilingual projects
• You will be responsible for development of integrated, multidisciplinary strategies
• You will be working in interdisciplinary project teams: interior design, communication design and product design
• Your communications need to be excellent, inspirational and convincing in delivery, in both Mandarin and English

What we expect from you:

• You must be fluent in Mandarin and English  
• You must have experience with processes and all design phases (especially later ones)
• You will need to have at least 8 years’ professional experience as project leader in an interior architecture context
• You will have to have a hands-on mentality and be able to put ideas into action
• A confident manner with strong communication and argumentation abilities, both spoken and written are a quality you must show
• You should be able to show your own statement approach to design and content; and show good design understanding
• You should be open-minded with interdisciplinary thinking
• You need to be independent, reliable, with a structured work approach and excellent team skills
• You will need to demonstrate good negotiation skills with a strong standard of English
• You must be confident in all the latest software programs
• Enthusiasm for thinking up and bringing to life new concepts, as well as implementing them worldwide is key to this role
• You will need to be experimental with your work  
• Good communication skills vis-à-vis with the client and the team is a must
• You will be able to start immediately
