Job Description
Sweater garment manufacturer with 120 staff in Hong Kong office and 2000 workers in Dongguan factory - main market is USA - is looking for a SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER - with details as follows :
- Degree holder in fashion design or related discipline
- 5 to 8 years fashion design working experience, preferably with focus in sweater design
- With good fashion color sense and knowledge of seasonal trends, themes, color, materials, styling and fit
- Can handle full set of product development process from sketch for sample development to complete products
- Experience with US buyers is prefer
- Self-motivated & able to meet tight deadlines
- Good presentation & communication skills
- Knowledgeable in knitting technique and able to communicate with factory.
- Knowledge in computer graphic and familiar with A.I. and Photoshop is a must
- Business level in English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Work in Design Team of 2 members (Senior Fashion Designer + Junior Designer)
- Report to the R&D Manager
- Responsible to conduct research, develop and design seasonal collection and lead design development.
- Handle full set of product development process from sketch for sample development to complete products
- Present design concept and product to overseas customers
- Occasional travel to China offices, not frequent, not regular
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary plus performance bonus
- 12 days annual leave
