Responsibilities:

• Oversee all visuals, including web, mobile, social media, articles, and videos.
• Make UX recommendations based on a wide array of information gathered from observations,     interviews, analytics, usability testing, and general trends.
• Collaborate with editors, project managers, and product managers to brainstorm ideas for visually based stories, new product features, web layout design, and promotion design.
• Work independently to lead all aspects of the design process from conception to completion.
• Solve user needs and experience with practical design.
• Work simultaneously with editors and project and sales teams to ensure sponsored photo shoots, graphics, and mini-site meet the creative brief requirements and schedule.
• Create and design a consistent site-wide experience across multiple features.
• Developing and executing online marketing collateral, such as landing pages, digital banners, emails, posts, and other web-based projects — for promotions and product. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• All-around love for the Internet. You should live and breathe digital media.
• A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience in design for mobile and desktop.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has strong presentation & collaboration skills.
• Must be able to effectively self-manage numerous projects at any given time.
• Expertise in digital design tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Web / Graphic / Multimedia design or related disciplines.
• Knowledge on frontend programming (HTML5/CSS/Flash) is plus.
