Qualification / Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in naval architecture at a recognized university;
• 3 to 5 years of ship design experience, and shipbuilding experience will be beneficial;
• Shall be competent in ship design, specification preparation and equipment selection, and experienced in following areas:

 - Vessel concept development, naval architecture principles, hull structure design and machinery systems.

Applicants must:

• Work independently or as part of a focused project team;
• Be fully familiar with Rules of major Classification Societies, HSC, SOLAS, and IMO;
• Possess strong skills in AutoCAD, word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
