Job Description

Project Management  

Job duty:    

  • To provide professional support in organising different types of professional development programmes for life-wide learning, other learning experiences and student learning, including liaison with external organisations, coordinating a series of on-sute workshops, induction programme and training workshops for teachers and students, preparing workshops'  materials and managing related databases;
  • To provide professional support for different network schemes like learning circle, including liaison with the participating schools and providing administrative support for organising related professional sharing programmes and student activities;
  • To provide assistance for seed project and documentary videos production, learning and teaching materials production, including liaison with participating schools and guest speakers, collecting data, writing scripts, proof readding and post production work;
  • To provide assistance in conducting AD Hoc Events and writing features for the section;
  • To handle enquiries and other related programmes to the relative section.

Requirement:    

  • A recognised bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong University, or equivalent;
  • Posses "Grade C" and "Grade E" in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE held before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to "Level 3" and "Level 2" respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
  • at least 4-year working experience in educational project management (Preference will be given to those with solid knowledge and experience in liaising with schools with good communication skills and running workshops for secondary schools teachers); and
  • Proficiency in using computer application software including MS Word, MS Excel and other common computer software. 

Project Coordinator: 

 Job duty:     

  • To assist in project administration of arts section;
  • To assist in planning and organizing various kinds of events;
  • To assist in editorial work and preparing materials (e.g. learning notes, presentation files, evaluation reports, etc.) for the project;
  • To design and update the webpage for the project;
  • To illustrate and design promotion materials (posters, videos, banners, certificates, trophies, etc.);
  • To communicate with students, schools, outside bodies and professionals for supporting the organisation of the project;
  • To perform any other duties as required; 
  • To perform out-of-office duties and work irregular working hours and on public holidays, if required. 

Requirement:     

  • Applicant should have a university degree;
  • Posses "Grade C" or above in Chinese and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE held before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to "Level 3" in Chinees and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth;
  • Strong oral and written language skills (English and Chinese);
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.;
  • Proficiency in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese input method;
  • At lease two year full-time experience in organising arts related projects;
  • Good personality and inter-personal communication skills, well organised, self-motivated and able to work independently; and
  • Preference will be given to those with visual arts related educational background and proficiency in web design software such as Dreamweaver. 

Event Coordinator 

Job duty: 

  • To assist in organizing events for dissemination of good practice, including meetings and workshops for course providers;
  • To assist in various public relation functions and communications with stakeholders;
  • To perform any other duties as required for enhancing the quality of education in schools. 

 Requirement 

  • A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; preferably with the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Grade C in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
  • Mastery of IT application in workplace, in particular, in information and data processing ;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency of using Excel database (Searching, drawing and calculation)
  • 4 years+ experience in Organization events and /or public relations functions administration for Event Assistant.     

Research Assistant

 Job duty:      

  • To support the officers in the life wide learning section for the implementation the curriculum, especially on the other learning experiences, student learning profile, career-related experiences and the promotion of major renewed emphases of secondary education curriculum guide implemented through the learning section strategy, including background search of hot issues, preparation of reference materials, co-ordination of seed projects and providing logistics support for related professional development programmes;
  • To provide professional support for research related to the life wide learning programmes, especially focus group interviews of both teachers and students, including designing questionnaires, collecting data, writing transcripts, conducting analysis, preparing reports and related documents;
  • To provide editiorial services for publicity materials of the learning section, including materials for dissemination, newspaper supplement, bulletins, video, website, leaflets and booklets;
  • To provide professional and logistics support to the learning section in organising seminars, workshops and activities, etc.   

Requirement: 

  • a Hong Kong recognised bachelor's degree, or equivalent, preferably major in language disciplines;
  • proficient in English and / or Chinese (both oral and written) "Grade C" and "Grade E" in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE held before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to "Level 3" and "Level 2" respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
  • proficient in using Excel and word processing software such as MS Word, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing (preference will be given to those with experience in using digital toools to manage large sets of data);
  • at least 2 years working experience in education field / conducting research (preference will be given to those with experience in supporting school curriculum development / conducting focus group interview and managing data for research and studies).
  • experience or knowledge of video production, write-up of storyboard and scripts is an advantage; and
  • experience or knowledge of administrating, maintaining and updating websites is an advantage. 

Finance & Administration Supervisor

 Job duty:  

  • Supervise accounting team;
  • Assist in administration duties, reviewing and monitoring internal control procedures;
  • Maintain routine accounting operations;
  • Prepare monthly management, financial reports and annual budget;
  • Responsible for daily operations and month end closing. 

Requirement:    

  • Degree holder in Accountancy;
  • 5 years+  experience in preparing and handling full sets of accounts and financial reports, preferably in Logistics industries;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Chineses and Mandarin;
  • Immediate available is preferred. 

Project Executive

 Job duty:    

  • To assist in the implementation of the Enhanced Arrangements in all public sector and Direct Subsidy Scheme schools;
  • To assist in supporting the schools joining the project on Enhancement of Complaint Management in Schools;
  • To assist in arranging briefing, training and experience sharing sessions for stakeholders of schools and colleagues;
  • To assist in administering the training programmes; including uploading course information, assigning course places, issuing notifications to participants, processing attendance records and course evaluations;
  • To provide on-site logistic support to the delivery of the training workshops and seminars;
  • To assist in compiling the evaluation findings and generating report for the focus discussion sessions;
  • To assist in arranging meetings of the Review Board(s) on School Complaints;
  • To answer general public enquiries relating to the applications for training workshops and the revised school complains handling procedures;
  • To assist in maintaining the webpage;
  • To assist in monitoring and updating the web links of relevant legislations and websites;
  • To maintain the bring-up system for bringing up actions for complaint cases; and
  • To assist in routing the complaint files/cases to responsible officers for actions

Requirement:   

  • A Hong Kong Bachelor's Degree or equivalent;
  • A Certificate/Diploma in Education from a local tertiary institution or equivalent is preferred;
  • At least 3 years' relevant post-degree experience;
  • Good command of written Chinese and English;
  • Proficient in computer applications.  Knowledge in Word (including Chinese input mentods), Excel and PowerPoint is essential;
  • Experience in administration, particularly in handling enquiries and complaints is preferred.
