Youth empowerment is one of Kids4Kids’ two major pillars. The Youth Empowerment Programs (YEP) target students aged 12-17. YEP is a progressive series of activities and experiences that seek to create attitudinal and cultural change in our youth, giving them the space to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and lives of others.

This position is full time (5 days per week).

Responsibilities:

• To organize and implement the Kids4Kids Youth Empowerment Programs to meet the vision and mission objectives of the organization
• To lead the curriculum development, execution, and impact measurement of Powered By Service leadership and action capacity building workshops at low-resourced secondary schools
• To plan the content and logistics of annual bilingual youth action forum
• To oversee students' community action projects and facilitate their mentor-mentee relationships
• To provide supervision for the youth leadership team (Advocates Leadership Team) and their projects
• To liaise with Kids4Kids school clubs at local and international secondary schools; to build and foster relationships with schools and community partners
• To oversee CSR engagements and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors and partners
• To identify, develop, and build relationship with new community partners
• To represent Kids4Kids at school and community related events
• To manage regular communications, e.g. social media, monthly newsletter, website content
• To support the Executive Director

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth (working with teens an advantage)
• Enjoy working with young people
• Has flexibility and an open mind to adapt to different situations and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe design suite a plus
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese; Mandarin a pus
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
