Responsibilities:

• Management of collections and daily operations including updating & enhancing the collections; maintain online catalogue, electronic databases, website and library management system
• Develop and organise Library Services and Educational Programmes for users, such as conduct workshops/development programmes/library tours
• Develop, promote the services of library, such as plan and implement promotional strategies to publicise the resources and facilities of the library, prepare and issue monthly newsletter
• Handle the administrative duties such as prepare budget, prepare quotation documents and various
• Supervise a team of frontline  staff

Requirements:

• Local university degree holder plus a master degree in Library Science
• 7 years' experience in library management, of which 3 years' in supervisory level in resources centres/public libraries/tertiary institutions
• Sound knowledge of educational developments, preferably in teaching/curriculum developments
• Good communication skills, organising and planning skills
• Self-motivated, independent and performance-oriented
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good knowledge in various library management systems, Word (English & Chinese Word) & Excel
