Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this exciting position, your responsibilities include amongst others:
Accountability for the lead frame and Wire BOM material to define material specifications, characterization procedures & signature analysis
Definition of the business strategy, development direction & material roadmap through supplier technology scouting & business input
Exploration and/or sourcing of suitable BOM material for different packages in terms of cost reduction and technical advancement
Monitor the trend on related industry regulations and standards, and manage development in materials to cope with the change
YOUR PROFILE
PhD or Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines or Materials Science
Minimum 10 years working experience in package development and material characterization method
Project management experience within a multi-site participation environment
Sound knowledge in statistical analysis, quality and problem solving tools, e.g. DOE, SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc.
Qualification in Six Sigma black belt is preferable
Good interpersonal skills and able to deliver results through determination and team-work
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
Mature, with customer oriented, proactive, solution oriented attitude
Ability to work independently and under pressure
