Responsibilities:

• To develop an operating plan and manage the operations within the operating plan;
• To work closely with other departments at the landfill e.g. construction, environmental monitoring, to develop the operating plan and implementing the plan;
• To conduct the operation in compliance with the Contract, the laws of Hong Kong, and codes of practice from the Company;
• To prepare reports on different aspects of the operation and attend meetings in particular with the Independent Consultant;
• To perform any other duties necessary to sustain the success of the Landfill;
• To ensure that the correct image and good reputation of the Company is maintained at all times;
• To carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager.
  
  

Requirements: 

• Degree Holder in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines;
• Over 10 years of experience of which with at least 5 years managerial experience in manufacturing, production or environmental industry;
• Experience in handling government projects will be an added advantage;
• Experience in working in multi-national company preferred;
• Solid experience in the implementation of health, safety & environmental plan and procedures;
• Good command in both English & Chinese (written and spoken);
• Excellent skills in Communication, interpersonal, coaching and negotiation;
• Pro-active, independent and can work under pressure;
• Detail-oriented with good analytical skills;
  
• Candidates with less experienced will be considered as Deputy Operation Manager.
