We are looking for energetic and innovative professional to join our Generation Business Group. Reporting to the Senior Production Manager of BPPS/PBPS, the appointee will be responsible for handling the station chemistry related tasks of the Power Plant. Major duties include: 

• Develop and maintain a competent work force to monitor the chemistry regime of various systems and manage the water treatment plant operation
• Monitor and manage chemistry deviations which have long term adverse impact to boiler water and steam circuit
• Develop and implement outage monitoring plan to ensure condition of water and steam pressure parts are tracked
• Resolve plant chemistry problems and achieve optimum performance.
• Identify and evaluate strategies in order to improve plant performance in related to plant chemistry.
• Manage chemical clean operation to restore system performance and to ensure safe plant operation
• Manage waste water treatment facilities to meet regulatory discharge requirement
• Assist the Senior Production Manager in plant issues related to SHE enhancement

 Requirements:- 

• A recognized university degree or equivalent in Chemistry / Laboratory / Environmental Engineering discipline plus at least 5 years’ experience in power plant industry or commercial laboratories
• Professional qualification obtained from the recognized professional bodies
• Good attitude with continuous improvement mindset
• Good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Familiar with Safety, Health and Environment related regulations and ordinances

 The successful candidate will be required to work in the Power Stations located at Tuen Mun area.
