We are recruiting an experienced and highly energetic Test Software Engineer to join us. This position involves designing and coding of unique solutions to test and calibrate our infrared sensing systems. Test Software Engineering is an integral part of our integrated semiconductor chip technology. You will participate in every phase of a project: definition of requirements, software design & coding, testing and system integration.

You should be an adaptive and forward-thinking individual, able to take ownership of complex processes while executing on immediate short-term deliverables. Your key skills will include complex problem solving, debugging and excellent documentation. You possess good presentation skills, a willingness and passion to learn new technologies. Teamwork is very important to us, so the ability to work well with other programmers and development staff members is a must.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in EE, Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent 2 years of industry experience in in C programming and embedded system programming
• Strong ownership and drive for success
• Programming experience in C and/or C++ is required
• Strong object-oriented approach to design and program with experience in large systems is required
• Experience with large software development projects with multiple developers using source/version control is highly desirable
• Experience in developing Visual Studio is highly desirable
• Experience in testing equipment is desirable
• Understanding of hardware subsystems and common peripheral buses such as I2C, SPI, USB, UART, frame grabber is desirable
• Ability to setup various tool chains, build and debugging environments and use of debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. is very helpful
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Project, Power Point
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (Putonghua)
