Job Description

The General Manager, shall lead the Engineering, Fabrication/Construction and Installation activities related to subsea construction within the Oil and Gas industry thru out the  FEED, preparation and execution phases of the offshore projects. Shall have experience in deep and ultra deep waters projects involving risers developments and SURF projects, also be able to present fit for purpose solutions to client based on latest industry codes. 

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility and accountable for planning and running the business operations
• Ensure timely completion of work scopes, being mindful of the relevant regulatory, contract and business operating procedures, and within project schedule time lines
• Be familiar with and implementation of the Company Management of Change process and procedures
• Provide counsel to Field and Project Engineers for technical / operational input to activities related to offshore construction during preparation and review of installation procedures
• Review project schedules and provide input to PMT for optimization of fleet utilization across project operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years offshore industry track record in operational manager role
• Minimum 10 years of offshore installation operations project track record
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards
• Ability to work under extreme pressure and very tight deadlines, and able to identify and delegate authority as required
