Job Description

CLP Engineering Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Holdings Limited, we undertake a variety of engineering work including energy services, facility management, infrastructure electrical and mechanical projects, lighting services, power engineering and traffic control & surveillance systems. We are looking for energetic and innovative engineering professionals to join the CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointees will be responsible for the full spectrum of project management in the assigned branch. Major duties:

  • Prepare design submissions, tender proposals, project plans and correspondence with relevant parties  
  • Prepare budget & forecast for the responsible projects and control costs & schedule to achieve targeted profit
  • Coordinate with various parties of projects / site works to plan, schedule and meet all contract programmes and requirements
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Systems to ensure that the required standards are achieved
  • May require to work outside normal working hours to handle site issues or perform site inspection when necessary
  • Perform shift duty subject to operational needs

Requirements

  • A recognized University degree in Electrical, Electronic, Building Services, Mechanical, Information Systems, Computer Science or other relevant engineering disciplines plus a minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in project management
  • Possession of a valid Construction Industry Safety Card
  • Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Customer-oriented, self-motivated, a good team player, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Registered Electrical Worker with grade A or above would be an added advantage
  • Candidate with a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferred
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Project Engineer
