Job Description

We aim to be the trusted partner of our customers.  Our General Manager will lead and manage our professional team to help our customers to improve their logistic operations. 

The General Manager is responsible for:

  • Oversee the performance and day to day management of the Logistic Solution team.
  • The General Manager owes key accounts and large scale projects and be responsible for deliver the solution to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • He/she will direct the project managers/consultants/engineers to carry out detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis on logistic and supply chain problems, and propose the most effective solutions to our customers.  Solutions usually involve redesign of operations process, design of facility layout, introducing new technology and/or IT solutions.  Result will usually be improved throughput or capacity, reduced space and manpower and therefore unit cost, improved service quality and competitiveness in the market.
  • He/she will provide technical advice, and work with technical team on detailed solution design, ensuring the solution meet the requirement in the most cost effective way.
  • Steer the implementation of solutions, including management of equipment suppliers, contractors, IT service providers, and other project team members, to ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the quality required by the customer.

Talent who has the following experience and attribute is likely to be successful in the role:

  • University graduated, preferably with engineering background.
  • 12 years working experience in 3PLs, Supply Chain Solutions Service Provider, or internal or external consulting with 8 years at managerial level.    Experience in automation technology, operations management, operations planning or business improvement.
  • Strong knowledge and background in logistics, warehouse management and industry technology
  • Strong leadership, communications, team management and presentation skills. -
  • Open minded, interested in problem solving, willing to take challenge, self-motivated and fascinating about new technology.
  • People oriented, able to maintain client relationship; motivate the project team, suppliers and contractors.
  • Good command of both spoken and written Chinese & English and fluent in Putonghua is essential
