Reporting to the Director of CPS, you will

• Develop strategies for resources planning and effective utilization of venue space to ensure the schedule maximizes opportunities for programme and artistic achievement
• Manage the effective and efficient production of all Tai Kwun Programmes and provide a level and quality of service to the Public Programs and to establish a mechanism for review and remedy.  Ensure that the specific needs and expectations of the Public Programs teams can be met
• Oversee the provision of professional back-of-house technical services and support in lighting, staging, audio-visuals, sound and exhibition installation across the full range of public programmes
• Establish standards of customer service, lead and manage a team of high quality and distinctive public-facing staff for Visitor Centre, Heritage Interpretation Rooms, Art Galleries, Tai Kwun Store, Box-office, Cloakroom, Galleries Reception Desk, Ushers and Guided Tours
• Plan and direct the provision of both back-of-house and front-of-house services to meet the operational needs and visitor expectation
• Manage and provide the updated information regarding all events and activities across the site.  Maintain and update information on the technical capability of each venue and oversee the centralized venue and event booking system, establish the booking hierarchies and protocols and allocate resources (both back-of-house and front-of-house)

You should have/be:

• Degree or above, preferably in Event Management / Theatre Management / Venue Management or other related discipline
• Proven working experience in service field, with 8 years at managerial level.  Previous exposure in event/program management for art/cultural organizations, and with experience in customer services and proven experience in leading and motivating a sizeable team
• Awareness of industry’s best practices, latest technology trends and applications
• Able to work with people of different level/background/culture with good leadership, problem-solving and project/event management skills
• Good in resources planning and budget control with strategic mindset and result oriented
• Outstanding communication skills and proficient in Cantonese, Putonghua and English
