Responsibilities:

•  To be responsible for the travel and accommodation arrangements of Festival guests;
• To arrange guest air ticket, hotel accommodation, ground transportation and itinerary;
• To negotiate and liaise with hotel, air carriers and travel agencies;
• To prepare and update the local and overseas guest lists on regular basis;
• To update the guest guide;
• To assist in processing accreditation requests;
• To arrange Festival passes;
• To prepare guest kits;
• To work with curators in preparing the “meet-the-audience” schedule;
• To handle hospitality enquiries;
• To be on duty at the HKIFF temporary office at Tsimshatsui during the festival period;
• To assume guest reception duty;
• To assist in preparing reports on overseas guests’ attendance and activities; and
• To perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and / or management from time to time.

Requirements:

• University graduate or equivalent;
• At least 2 years' working experience in guest relationship will be an advantage;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
• Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint); and
• Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.

The above position is offered on temporary contract terms only.
