Main Duties

• Work across business units, IT and Business Systems Support to ensure the development and delivery of solutions
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders from project inception through completion
• Develop project schedules, coordinates project status meetings, manages resources throughout the project life cycle
• Report status regularly to stakeholders and ensure delivery to schedule and budget
• Remove impediments such as cultural barriers, logistic challenges etc.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside the team
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment
• Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Bachelor degree holder
• Qualified in recognised project management discipline
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience
• Background in engineering, technology, or software preferred
• Prior project management experience in small to medium scale software implementation projects
• Vendor management experience well regarded
• Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement within the team
• Confident and skilled at navigating the team through road-blocks to allow sprints to be completed on tim
• Ability to work on agile practices and ensure adherence to agile methodology to deliver max business value on time
• Demonstrated experience working within a dynamic environment of change
• Assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority – not afraid to do what is best for the team
• Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him
• Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts
• Able to resolve conflicts within the team before they become an issue – strong mediator
• Strong attention to detail and top organisational skills
• Strong complex stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Aptitude to work with the business and strive for continuous improvements
• Any project management software
• Professional fluency in written and oral English
• Additional fluency in any other languages is a bonus
