Responsibilities:

• gather, analyze and document user requirements;
• design, implement, deploy and maintain web applications; and
• provide technical support to research activities and academic events organized by the Centre; and
• perform other administrative duties.
  
  

Applicants should:

• possess a bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• be familiar with web programming languages and frameworks (i.e. PHP/ JSP/ AJAX);
• be experienced in database design and SQL;
• be proficient in web and database server setup (e.g. Apache HTTP Server/ Jetty/ MySQL);
• be able to work with Unix/Linux and Window environments;
• have good communication skills;
• be of high accountability and willing to take initiative; and
• be required to work on weekends or irregular hours occasionally.
  
  

Candidates with work experience in the tertiary education sector and knowledge of Digital Humanities will be an advantage.
