Responsibilities:

• to manage and support campus network and security equipment;
• to manage and support various server systems, including virtual infrastructure; and
• to assist in preparing user and technical documentation.

Applicants should:

• possess a recognized degree or above in Computer Science or relevant discipline;
• have at least 5 years of experience in the following areas:
• Linux environment: host configuration and scripting, Apache, Nginx, Bind, Postfix
• Windows environment: Active Directory
• Network environment: Juniper switch & firewall, FortiGate, Ruckus WiFi
• Virtualization technology: VMWare, Hyper-V
• Cloud services: Office 365, Azure, Google
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB setup and administration (i.e. SQL programming, data backup, system configuration & etc.)
• Server room facility management & SIEM solutions
• have good knowledge in latest server and network technologies, preferably with relevant certifications;
• have experiences in planning, security, project management and documentation;
• have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• be mature, self-motivated, able to work independently and willing to work on shift duties; and
• have positive mindset with good interpersonal and communication skills.
