Responsibilities:

• Perform implementation and configuration management for all production infrastructure environments, including web and database servers, storage, and networking across multiple sites.
• Maintain, optimize core infrastructure systems that enable and support the company business.
• Manage special system infrastructure projects, incident response escalations and problem management cases.
• Coordinate with and provide support to the Software Development Team, Product Managers for AWS environment.
• Document, review and update all processes and operational procedural documents.
• Create and monitor target availability levels (e.g., 99%) for infrastructure hardware and software (server, storage, cloud/local networks).
• Plan capacity requirements and recommend procurement requirements for growth and fault tolerance including business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Perform deployment of new installs and release upgrades - including infrastructure aspects of application upgrades and migration of the Cloud systems.
• Maintain AWS Virtual Environment. Perform complex Storage and Virtual Infrastructure maintenance, to include but not limited to code updates, re-configurations, hot fixes and any other corrective actions.
• Identify redundancy and DR requirements based on business needs.
• Perform and test routine system backups and restores.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain power shell automation for daily tasking, provisioning, and common errors.
• Perform preventive, scheduled and emergency infrastructure maintenance.
• Provide technical support related to infrastructure and any contracted technical services for projects or service delivery.

Requirements:

• 4+ years specific systems experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
• Proven, significant experience in deployment of business requirements to information systems.
• Strong background of collaborating with service providers with platform engineering, monitoring, DevOps, and product development teams to support end-to-end solutions that are resilient and scalable
• Experience in software or infrastructure project delivery required
• Expert with Amazon Web Services Platform
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer orientation
