Job Description

Your role will be a mixture of working as part of the team to help continuously upgrade the system and work with the various mobile teams, developing the API, as well as the legacy system. These systems work across Trade Finance, Treasury, and Private Bank. These including supporting a wide range of products including FX, MM and Derivatives. The Trade Finance team will also give you good exposure to financial vendor application such as products from SWIFT.
The client will also consider candidates who have not worked in banking previously, making it a very good opportunity to enter this industry. The team is very supportive and an excellent place to learn. The role is based in Kowloon and is for an initial 12-month contract. This is extremely likely to be extended and there is also a possibility for the position to be transferred to a permanent role.
Requirements:
- 3-10 years’ experience with Java, Shell Scripting, SQL.
- English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage
- Experience within banking industry is preferred
- University educated
- Strong Analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Team player
