Responsibilities:

• Undertake DBA role to manage all databases, including database patching, upgrade, performance tuning, monitoring, back-up and recovery for critical systems
• Provide database support for Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL databases within Unix, Linux and Wintel environment
• Install and configure various Oracle database products and HA solutions including Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Golden Gate
• Provide database and VM hosting service to external customers through Oracle Exadata and Exalogic tools
• Perform development using PL/SQL, Unix scripts and Java
• Perform system administration and monitoring on Unix, Linux and Windows servers
• Provide technical assistance to the application team for project development

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology / Engineering or related disciplines
• Holder of relevant professional certification is required
• 2-years or above experience in Oracle database administration and support
• Proficiency and skillful in Oracle 10 to 11
• Familiar in different kinds of database recovery methods
• Knowledge / experience in handling VLDB, performance tunning, systems development with Unix scripts, Java, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Good analytical, problem-solving self-motivated and communication skills
