Job Description

1) Network Engineer (Urgent)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement network changes in accordance with the change of management process
  • Support project implementation which includes network equipment installation & configuration, platform interaction, project management and end users
  • Support network infrastructure components including but not limited to router, switches, firewall, load balancer, proxy server, VPN, Infoblox, ACS, WLC etc.
  • Utilize network management systems/software and appropriate analyzers to collect network load statistics, model performance, and create reports
  • Work on assignments in areas including automation, product evaluation, tool development etc.
  • Provide on-call support to network incidents during non-office hours

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in engineering, telecommunications, or IT related disciplines
  • 1-2 years solid working experience on network operations and/or maintenance
  • Holder of CCNA or CCNP 
  • Experience in working in data centre LAN infrastructure environment
  • Knowledge of popular brands of routers/switches, firewalls and other networking devices such as VPN, load balancers, etc
  • Sometimes, the job is required travel to China

2.) Technical Specialist (Window)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily Deskside MS Windows 7 & Desktop support in office environment
  • Providing MS AD administrations, MS Terminal server and related application support.
  • Follow change management process and perform support procedures and setup instruction document updating. 
  • Follow the incident and problem management process including problem isolation, service resumption, diagnosis, root-cause analysis & reporting
  • Provide project implementation support to MS Windows and virtualization infrastructures.
  • Auxiliary basics Network support in Cisco Router and Switch by following instructions by next level of Network.
  • Auxiliary technical support in Windows server & VM platforms including Windows Server 2008, 2012 & VMWARE
  • Provide administrative support including patching, regular housekeeping, capacity planning and system documentation
  • Non-office hours On-call support required in case of incidents

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in IT or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences
  • Experiences in managing Windows 7 / 10 Client, AD & Terminal server services, VMware ESXi & VCenter.
  • Basic knowledge in Cisco Router & Switch setup.
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Certified MCP, MCSE, VCP in an advantage
  • Experiences in cloud infrastructure in an advantage

3.   Technical Specialist (Network)

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Network Technical Competence Centre operates and supports complex client networks in the APAC region. The candidate is required to:Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructures

  • Responsible for the level 1-3 support including first line diagnosis, resolution and root cause analysis of network related problems
  • Implement network changes in accordance with the change of management process
  • Support project implementation which includes network equipment installation & configuration, platform interaction, project management and end users
  • Support network infrastructure components including but not limited to router, switches, firewall, load balancer, proxy server, VPN, Infoblox, ACS, WLC etc.

  • Certified CCIE is preferred, but CCNP is a must
  • Experience in working in data centre LAN infrastructure environment
  • Knowledge of popular brands of routers/switches, firewalls and other networking devices such as VPN, load balancers, etc.
  • Experience in LAN/WAN standards and protocols (e.g. VLAN, OSPF, SNA, DSLW, BSTUN, MPLS, etc)
  • Familiar with common domestic and international telecommunication services
  • Able to handle & perform the daily work assignments with minimal supervision
  • Analytical skills in troubleshooting and problem solving
  • A team player
  • Candidate wth 1-2 years will be also considered
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Technical Specialist or Network engineer

4.  Technical Specialist (Midrange-Backup)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Midrange systems are operating in a stable and effective environment to meet with all Services Level Agreement
  • Perform regular upgrade and update for all Midrange software to ensure adequate support
  • Implement technical projects to fulfil Atos and customer standards and requirements
  • Study and accept new application systems, provide recommendations from operational point of view and assist the customer systems development section on system design and establishment
  • Perform operation fault analysis and provide recommendations to improve the production batch window
  • Update regularly on software inventory and maintain up-to-date local system configuration
  • Collect system performance information and generate performance reports
  • Provide 7 x 24 support in conjunction with other services supporting parties, deliver technical support and day-to-day services to meet with customer requirements and Services Level Agreement
  • Take problem ownership and follow up through problem escalation procedure for all critical problems
  • Ensure day-to-day change requirements from customer are implemented in a timely and professional manner 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in IT or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experiences
  • Strong operational background in Midrange platform & database
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
  • A team player
  • Certified in Linux, AIX, Solaris, VC5 an advantage
  • Experiences of Linux, AIX, Solaris, vSphere, Netbackup, VCS clustering and BMC Control-M an advantage
  • Knowledge of ITIL an advantage

5.) Technical Specialist (Midrange)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Midrange systems are operating in a stable and effective environment to meet with all Services Level Agreement
  • Perform regular upgrade and update for all Midrange systems and software
  • In conjunction with Solution Planning and Project Management team, implement technical projects to meet with Atos and customer standards and requirements
  • Perform operation fault analysis and provide recommendations to improve performance of production systems
  • Update regularly on software inventory and maintain up-to-date local system
  • Provide 7 x 24 support in conjunction with other services supporting parties, deliver technical support and day-to-day services to meet with customer requirements and Services Level Agreement
  • Take problem ownership and follow up through problem escalation procedure for all critical problems
  • Ensure day-to-day change requirements from customer are implemented in a timely and professional manner 
  • In conjunction with L1/L2 Support Team in offshore countries in change and problem management
  • Manage software vendors to ensure good quality of services and support are provided to Atos for technology updates and problem resolution.
  • Leading a team to provide support function to all areas of Atos and other customer? information System in the development, implementation and maintenance of production application.
  • Prepare and draft regional and local standards, procedures, practices and approach are adopted
  • Arrange cross-training for team members to ensure critical support functions are adequately backup

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in IT or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experiences, preferable IT support in financial sector
  • Strong technical knowledge and support experience on Redhat Linux, AIX, Solaris and Veritas Clustering
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Experiences of supporting vSphere, Netbackup and BMC Control-M would be an advantage

6) Database Administrator 

The Job

  • Responsible for providing technical support for Oracle / MSSQL / DB2 / MySQL databases
  • Work on database design, installation, configuration, performance tuning and ongoing maintenance
  • Perform night emergency call support when necessary 

The Person

  • Bachelor? Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years??experience in Oracle / MSSQL / DB2 / MySQL database administration
  • Holder of OCA / OCP / IBM DB2 certification is preferred
  • Hands-on experience in database installation, backup & recovery and performance monitoring & tuning
  • Knowledge of database HA / DR solutions (RAC / Dataguard / HADR) or system administration and backup tools administration (IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, Symantec Netbackup, etc) is an advantage
  • A good team player with analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills

The Job

  • Perform technical support including installation, configuration and product patching / upgrade on various middleware products

Person

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

  • Solid working experience of at least one of the following:
  • Windows 2000 and 2003 server administration
  • Windows AD and cluster administration

11)  Technical Specialist (Presales)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external parties on business solutions design (Mainly on infrastructure)
  • Obtain requirement from customer IT/application staffs
  • Provide IT solution and cost on both the existing client RFS (Request For Service) or new business
  • Provide technical/commercial/general guidance to solution team member
  • Involve in Technical Design Authority (TDA) activities to bring value to existing managed operations services such that to create more business opportunities for all clients
  • Pre-sales support on IT solution 

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in IT or any relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years' of relevant working experience, with 3 years' experience in IT consultant role is a must
  • Familiar with IT solution technologies (e.g. Virtualization, SAN technology and etc)
  • Solid experience in enterprise IT infrastructure (e.g. Windows, RedHat Linux, UNIX, AS400, hyper-v, VMware, SAN storage, Network)
  • Solid experience to deal with clients, getting requirements from business users and/or senior IT management
  • Solid experience to design Virtualization (VMware, hyper-v, Xen server) solution
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated, independent, good presentation & negotiation skills and able to work under pressure
  • Solid experience to response Government Tender is an advantage
  • Ability to write up a business and technical proposal
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
