Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop & implement large-scale, Internet-based applications, frameworks and platforms
• Hands-on software framework development and infrastructure setup
• Maintenance and enhancement on existing applications

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience developing complex distributed applications at scale
• Experience with Node.js
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 
• An understanding of the entire backend ecosystem, from deployment to monitoring to troubleshooting
• Aptitude to learn new technologies as necessary
