Job Responsibilities

• Provide first line support to all desktop users.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications.
• Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, scanners and hand held devices.
• Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible; escalating incidents to Senior IT Officer where necessary.
• Install and configure new desktop IT equipment.
• Provide remote and off-site support.
• Assist Senior IT Officer on IT infrastructure, servers, telecommunication systems, and databases.
• Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
• Undertaking other duties not specifically stated which from time to time may be necessary.

Job Qualifications

• Working knowledge of operating systems and common office software.
• Working knowledge of blackberry, iPhone and android devices.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English is required.
• New graduates with IT tertiary degree or high diploma or up to three years of experience in IT support will be considered.
