Job Description

We are now looking for another Customer Support Agent, focusing on the Japanese market, to join our team. In this role, you will be at the center of our company communicating directly with our customers and providing them with a heartwarming customer experience true to the “Omotenashi” spirit. You will through your service minded interaction and communication contribute towards improving the value, satisfaction and loyalty of our customers.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, responsible and caring and with the ability to see things from the customer’s point of view. You should be a team player who can form positive relationships with employees at all levels of the business. For someone with a proactive mindset and a willingness to contribute to our growing team you will have excellent career opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture and support player relationships via phone, e-mail, and live chat.
  • Seek resolutions to customer queries and issues whilst maintaining a personalized and caring attitude.
  • Assist in the alignment of promotions across all customer communication channels.  
  • Receive, handle, and translate customers’ KYC documents.
  • Assist in English to Japanese translation work for new games and promotions.
  • Assist in various ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Requirements

  • Native level of written and spoken Japanese.
  • Intermediate to fluent level of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to listen and come up with solutions to customer problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • General PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Be flexible when it comes to working hours and able to work on a five day a week shift basis.

Desirable requirements

  • Previous customer support experience.
  • E-commerce experience.
