Our client is a 236 years old German company specialized in the field of metal processing, machinery for foam plastics molding, electronic soldering, and low pressure die casting. The company extended the operation to Asia since 1988 and is headquartered in Hong Kong. Now she has a manufacturing site in Zhuhai, a subsidiary company in Shanghai, and branch offices in both in Beijing and Shenzhen. Total number of employees is more than 160 in the region. They are looking for incumbents to apply for following position:

Position:                  PLC Programmer       

Report to:               General Manager, Zhuhai

Job Location:         Hong Kong and Station in Zhuhai during working days

Responsibilities

• Translate application requirements into logic control
• Design and develop PLC/HMI programming for company’s different products
• Ensure the best possible cost & performance, quality, and responsiveness of machineries
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs or new requirement and devise solutions with the Mechanical engineer
• Maintain electrical diagrams and documentation; keep documentation current and software up-to-date and available for other team members

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation or Computer science
• 3-5+ years hands-on experience in programming, testing and commissioning advanced control systems in the following industries, i.e. injection moulding, automotive, pharmaceutical, mining or EMS;
• Background in electrical and electronic and reading electrical schematics;
• Be innovative with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Electrical design/drafting experience with AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan’
• Ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain schedule for multiple projects as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
• Collaborative and be team player but able to work independently;
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
