Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Administration, maintenance and data backup of servers for Linux, Wintel Servers and VMware systems
- Network Administration of LAN/WAN/ Wireless and firewall
- Supporting end users on systems, networks, hardware/software setups and troubleshooting
- System/Security control and monitoring
- Supporting website updates on Content Management System and Audio Visual System
- Implementation and maintenance of new hardware and business systems
- Evaluation of new technologies and solution platforms based on user requirements
- Helpdesk support to internal end-user
Qualifications and Required Attributes
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information System, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Hands-on experience over 5 years in Microsoft Windows servers, Microsoft Exchange, Linux administration, LAN/WAN administration and Check Point Firewall configuration
- Sound technical knowledge in the following areas: RedHat Linux, MySQL, MSSQL, VMware, SAN Storage, Microsoft Windows server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL server, LAN/WAN/Wireless and firewall, Shell Script and Power Shell, Cloud Platform
- Certification in MCITP or MCSE / CCNA an added advantage
- A fast learner with passion on latest technologies and applications
- Proactive with strong sense of responsibility and result-oriented
- A strong team player, self-motivated and hard working, and at the same able to work independently
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin speaking is a plus
