New expanding Company located in Cyberport is looking for Part-time/Full Time (software & hardware & web designer) technicians

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices; knowledge of SQL and Java script is preferred
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Work and/or academic experience using Visual Basic, COM+, XML, ASP and DHTML in an MS windows .NET architecture environment a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to current
• Microsoft SQL Server Certification within 90 days of employment commencement
• Build functional and easy-to-use websites
• Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices
• Maintain, configure and troubleshoot servers
• Ensure site security by setting up firewalls and login pages
• Optimize loading speeds and capacity
• Debug pages and fix broken links or images
• Update website content and review SEO
• Monitor and analyse site performance (e.g. traffic, conversions)
• Address user complaints

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Design or a related field is preferred;
• 2 years minimum full-time experience providing tech support
• Industry specific qualifications (A+, N+, CISCO etc.)
• Experience with Mac is preferred, but not required
