Our client is a large reputable multinational insurance company.  Due to massive business expansion in multiple directions and across borders, the company has added a new headcount within their regional IT department for an Information Security Manager, reporting into the Regional Head of Information Security based in Hong Kong. 

As an Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for the following:-

• Analyze potential IT security incidents to determine if incident qualifies as a legitimate security breach
• Interface with project management personnel and other teams as required
• Appropriately inform and advise management on incidents and incident prevention
• Document and conform to processes related to security monitoring
• Participate in knowledge sharing with other Managers and develop solutions efficiently
• Provide support to business teams’ coordination of audits related to, in responses to, and in resolution of queries related to information security
• Support implementation and execution of proposed audit remedial actions
• In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, support delivery of regional plan for risk assessments and deployment of the company’s information security framework

To be considered for this role as an Information Security Manager, you possess the following:-

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Management, IT, Statistics, or related fields
• At least 7 years of professional experience in Information Security, Risk Management, IT Controls, or related areas
• Prior experience in proposing and supporting remedial actions
• CISSP, CISA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Excellent command of English
• Candidates with immediate availability is an added advantage
