Monthly Salary Range:
HK$19,485 – HK$34,485 (for the grade of Assistant Computer Officer II)
HK$14,295 – HK$18,390 (for the grade of Computer Technician-in-training)

Duties: Appointee will play a role as programmer assisting system analysts to perform application developments and supports. He/She will have the opportunity to participate in large scale system implementations to support the School’s operations by using latest web and mobile technologies.  He/She will also provide support on program development, unit and integration testing, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with one year relevant working experience in IT system development; or an associate degree or higher diploma/diploma in IT disciplines or equivalent with three years relevant working experience in IT system development. Candidates possess extensive knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Javascript, JQuery, HTML is an advantage; good working attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills; and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

(Candidates with less experience will be considered as Computer Technician-in-training.)

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
